Rom compatibility for regional carrier C Spire (N920R7)

So I've got the N920R7 variant, which is what is used by the regional carrier C Spire. The device ships with LP and there is no MM OTA available. I've attached a screenshot from about device.

I've installed TWRP and systemless root using instructions from the Nexus 5 forums so that I can use Android Pay. I've used the EFS backup tool to back up my EFS partition. I've also used some instructions I found elsewhere to make what I think is an ODIN-flashable image of my stock ROM (but with TWRP). I have a nandroid backup too.

I'm wondering what the possibilities are for updating to MM. I'm assuming that I can probably flash any ROM for the N920P and it would work, though possibly requiring me to manually change to the C Spire APNs. But this is my first Samsung phone and I've seen enough warnings about messing up EFS partitions and bootloader locks and being unable to downgrade that I figured I'd ask first.

Also, I'm interested in updating to MM and keeping the ability to use Android Pay. This rules out custom ROMs entirely, as well as stock-based ROMs with pre-rooted kernels. Am I correct to assume that I can ODIN flash a pure stock MM Sprint image, then flash TWRP through ODIN as I have already done on LP, then repeat the systemless root install I previously did, and I should be good to go? Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks!
