where exactly is the water damage indicator

where exactly is the water damage indicator? my power button isn't working anymore and there was some water in the simtray after a thunderstorm but as far as I understand the damage indicator is situated on the far side of the hole for tray removal and that is still white. But I want to be sure before sending the phone in
