I have a Blu Studio X+ (MTK6582), running stock 5.0.2 firmware with kernel 3.10. I'm having issues with connecting my phone to MTK Droid Tools. I have the latest 2.5.3 on both of the computers I tried this on. On my Windows 7 machine, Droid Tools doesn't even detect the phone at all. On my Windows XP machine, it will be detected just fine. It prompts me next to give the toolkit root permissions (even though my phone is already rooted), and I tell it to proceed. As soon as the square turns from yellow to green, meaning root permissions were granted, a dialog box pops up saying the connection with the device was lost. I need to reboot my computer to get it to connect again.
What am I doing wrong?
