USB C Chipset

I heard the Nexus 5X does NOT have USB 3.1 support. Is this due to the chipset not supporting USB 3? Or just a purposeful software feature that will be added to the future?
It gets confusing but I believe it goes like this:
USB 2.0 (USB type A/mini B/C)(500MBPS)
USB 3.0 (USB type A/micro B/C)(1.2GBPS)
USB 3.1 Gen 1 (USB type A/micro B/C)(5GBPS)
USB 3.1 Gen 2 (USB type A/micro B/C)(10GBPS)

What speeds are you seeing on your 5X? I transfer a 1GB file in about 5 seconds so it seems that I'm only getting around 200MBPS.
