Padfone X(S) to Stock Lollipop with Root

So I realized that there wasn't much support out there for the padfone X. I love my padfone X regardless of its tiny battery, lack of developer support, and unpopularity. So I decided to embrace my love for tech and support the device myself.
So, Asus is still showing love to the padfone S(not X). That being the case it's the international version of the AT&T X; the hardware is almost identical. I decided to turn my X into an S, unlock the bootloader, upgrade to Android 5(I know its not the latest but it's better than 4.4.2), root and enjoy.
Breaking, bricking, whatever... This is all on you, this is what I did to my phone. I'm only sharing my experience. Make sure your phone is fully charged before you begin. Don't say I broke your phone, your taking a risk. I take no credit if this does or doesn't work. This process is time consuming and might not work for you. Don't blame me for wasted time.
This should give you carrier unlock as well.(not tested) and you should be able to use the Padstation with Lollipop. I'll leave download links below.

Steps
#1 back up all your data(titanium etc)
#2 download and run New Kingroot(took 5 tries to work)
#3 download and run superSume Pro
#3a step 3 should have installed SuperSU... Uninstall Kingroot & update SuperSU (use normal method); get a root checker and check root
#4 download a custom recovery(I personally like TWRP, but its buggy on this phone whatever) store the recovery.img on your phone's internal storage(not sd)
#5 install a flash tool(rashr or flashify will do) flash the custom recovery img.
#5a you should have root and custom recovery now, even if the bootloader is locked.
#6 The hard part. Put the S firmware on your internal storage(not sd card)
#7 in recovery mode you need to make another back up(back ups are awesome) do a factory reset in recovery(also wipe cache)
#7a install S firmware(do this in recovery mode) and restart phone. (Initial boot takes about 2 minutes). This might not work the first time(took 5 restores for me to finally get it)
Congratulations!!! You now have a "Padfone S"
#8 preferably using clockwork mod, install crowlock zip file by quarx to unlock bootloader
#9 to upgrade from 4.4.2 to 5.0 you need to go through about 4 updates from the Asus website. Follow this link(only use WW upgrades)
#10 after the upgrades you may have lost root. Just follow steps 2 and 3 again.

Asus "says" they will be releasing Android 6 for the Padphone S... Don't know how true that is, hope so. ENJOY!!!
