hi all,
I was wondering if I could find someone to help me. I need to disable the stock lock screen on my Kindle Fire (5th Gen). I'm running 5.1.2 rooted. I found old threads giving the below steps which I followed but it's not working for me:
1) Install NoLock from Google Play
2) Use titanium to convert to system app (and check the apk successfully moved across)
3) Reboot (it does some 'optimization')
4) Launch NoLock - tap to disable
5) It crashes every time
I tried to use Widgetlocker as well. I've also tried to re-install the apk from the system folder between 4 and 5 but the result is still the same. Anyone knows how to do this? Cannot believe it's not possible.
many thanks
