USB Diagnose mode/engineering mode

Hi,
It seems impossible for me to activate the USB diagnose mode on the oneplus one. I am trying to follow this guide but i don't even get the to see two devices under the other devices menu. It worked when my oneplus one was on Android 4.4 but since 5.0 this tutorial doesn't work for me and it fails because I cannot get into the usb diagnose mode.:/ Link to tutorial: http://ift.tt/1Jui7G5 (I fail at step 4-5)
I would really appreciate any help or comments as I don't know what to do and feel a bit lost.

Can't replace return values with setResult

I'm not able to change the return values of a method. The hook is working. Even the logs are correct - but when i actually call the method in another app the real information is shown.

Code:

Can you help me with that?

Couldn't Sign In. There was a problem communications with the Google servers

Hi all, Just rooted and installed Nova on my 5th gen fire 7 and it worked perfectly. (I had another one that died so this has worked for me in the past). I then installed Goolge Play serviced, rebooted, but when I reboot it tells me "Couldn't Sign In. There was a problem communications with the Google servers" when I try to log into Play.

I first just use the "Install Google Apps" section here:

and when it didnt work I tried this version:

I get the same result with both. I did notice I get a notification that says "An application requires an update for Goog.... Google Requested by google Play Services" but when I tap on it it it just takes me back to the logn screen again.

HELP PLEASE!?!

Do I need two backup files?

Hi,

I have a 2014 Kindle Fire HDX on which I installed CM11 this year in March. I have experienced no problems except I seem to have small storage space. I recently noticed these large files:

data.ext4.win000 - 1.55gb
data.ext4.win001 - 1.51gb
system.ext4.win - 1.15gb

Can I delete any of these? I don't know for sure, but I think the first two files are each a backup, one of my Kindle Fire OS before upgrading, one of CM11 after the upgrade.
