Please help! Water Damaged Xperia Z2!

Hey guys. I recently had to walk in the rain for about 30-40 minutes to my Dads work, and no I don't have a car at the moment. My phone had closed flaps and everything when I was walking. I had my rain jacket on but my phone was in my jacket's pocket. When I arrived at my dad's work I saw how wet my phone was, so i dried it off with a towel. First thing i tried was listening to music using my earphones, and it didn't work, so maybe i though it was my earphones. Then I tried to watch an MKBHD video (Yes, why not.) on youtube in landscape mode, but it didn't work, so I tried playing a tilt racing game, and my car didn't turn at all. So up to that point, i got stressed out. So I rebooted my phone, and first thing I noticed was that my Notitfication panel was Stock Marshmallow and not N themed anynmore. Then approx 7 seconds later, BOOM. Everything on screen went gone. Since it wasn't an amoled screen, i could still see that the backlight was still on, with slight darker areas around the bottom right corner. The touchscreen was still working. I was able to boot into the 'invisible recovery' (lol) and I could swipe and press and do everything, but still nothing on-screen was showing. The I looked at both of my cameras, and I could see on moth there was waterdroplets around the lenses. At that point, I got extremely stressed out, but i still ate pizza because i was hungry. (lol) So I putted in rice when i got home overnight. Still nothing happened. When rubbing the power button, i can feel water sliding out gently. I couldn't understand up to that point. "The Z2 is waterproof! Water damage was the last thing on my mind to happen to this phone!" Any solutions or tips from you guys? Thanks alot for any help! :)

And please don't comment that I'm a troll and i deserve it, because I'm not! Anyway, I just need help on this. Thanks! :D

Tablet stuck on EFI Shell. USB ports disabled.

Hello. I'll try to explain my problem because I really need some help.

A few days ago, I was normally using my Tablet ECS TR10RS1 Intel®.... I turned it off, went to sleep and the next day when I was going to use it again, the OS didn't start, so I tried and tried until I found a forum where they led me to restore a backup file because the original firmware/rom wasn't still available.... publicly. I tried that, but in the process, I accessed the EFI Shell... That wasn't trouble at all, I just plugged the keyboard and typed "exit", and then it let me to the BIOS... And that's when my real problem began: I restored the factory setting default... and it involves "disabling USB ports".... Now, AGAIN, I'm stuck on EFI Shell. But this time, I can not type "exit" since the keyboard is not recognized by the Tablet.

Then I pressed Vol UP + Power ON and I get access to another menu "DNX".... And that's what brings me here to your forum:

I was briefly reading that one of your members managed to flash the BIOS via DNX, so I was wondering if you guys could help me do that to my tablet because I'm not planning to have a really expensive paper holder.

Thanks in advance.

Jinky.

Root for LG G3 VS985 Android 6.0 47A

I found this one click root tutorial for my phone on ibtimes website (can't post the link because I'm a new member) but it's for Lollipop. Will it work for Marshmallow 6.0 (software version 47A)? I'm afraid it will brick my phone (again - my last phone was a G2 that I bricked from enabling 16-bit transparency to improve performance)
If it doesn't, how can I root it and install custom recovery? I can't find a root for this phone on Marshmallow, and I don't know how to roll back to Lollipop.
I am willing to factory reset if I need to.

Please help returning HTC One M8 to Stock

Well, I'm trying to sell my sons rooted HTC One M8 phone and before I do, I'd like to return it to stock....imagine that.. :silly:

I followed this guide to get the Android Revolution ROM loaded - http://ift.tt/1TVPx4h

The ROM file I flashed is - Android_Revolution_HD-One_M8_45.0_758ff1.zip

Here is the current phone information:

When the phone loads now (takes a while to boot btw), the wireless doesn't work at all. I can't load the RUU image posted at the end of the article. Is there a better way of returning this to stock?

Appreciate the help folks.
